Hot Tub Delivery – What To Expect

What do I need the day of delivery?

By the time your delivery is scheduled, you should have already chosen a place for your spa and had an adequate electrical supply installed according to our power requirements. On the day of delivery you’ll need to provide three things:

  • An on-site contact—someone to direct the location and orientation of your spa on your patio
  • A clear delivery path—trailers, toys, and vehicles moved from harm’s way
  • A garden hose—used to fill your new spa with fresh water

How does the delivery work?

1. Our installation crew arrives at your home

Immediately upon arrival our crew will meet with you to discuss the location and orientation of your spa. Someone will need to be on-site to give the installers direction.

Arrival Time: Due to the unpredictable variety of obstacles our crew may face at appointments prior to your installation, it’s very difficult to guarantee an exact arrival time. In leu of a set appointment, our team will send a text message about 30 minutes before your crew arrives on the day of your scheduled installation. If you need additional notice, please let our scheduling team know.

2. Our crew moves your spa into place

After reviewing where the spa will be placed, our crew will load the spa onto a special cart and move the spa onto your property and place it on the spa pad.

3. You approve the location and orientation of your spa

Once the spa is in place the crew will square the spa on your patio and approve the location and orientation with you or our on-site contact.

4. You may begin filling your new spa

So that we can serve all our customers in a timely manner, Bullfrog Spas does not stay at the installation until the spa is full of water. We will however confirm that the spa is fully functional and ready to start as soon as your spa has an adequate level of water.

If your home has a water softener installed it is strongly recommend that you bypass it while filling your spa. Soft water causes your spa’s water to foam.

You will need to provide your own hose to fill the spa. Our crew will begin filling the spa, but it is your responsibility to turn off the water once the spa is full.

5. Our crew connects the power supply to your spa

If your electrician provides the correct electrical supply, our crew will run the electrical line through the spa’s built-in-chase-ways and make the final connection.

Bullfrog Spas of Northern Utah does not provide electrical services. It is your responsibility to have a licensed electrician install an adequate power supply prior to delivery. Read our power requirements for more information.

Bullfrog Spas of Northern Utah can not make the final power connection to spas outside of Utah.

5. Our crew installs accessories onto your spa

The crew will then assemble and install any accessories that you may have ordered with your spa. This often includes, cover lifters, steps, cover latches, and handrails.

5. Our crew will demonstrate how to use the spa

After the crew installs your accessories, they will take a moment to explain how to use your spa and review the options specific to your model.

5. Our crew will add startup chemicals to the spa

At the completion of your installation, our crew will add the startup chemicals to your spa so you can begin using it as soon as it’s reached your desired temperature.

7. You should visit our showroom for a free water test and chemical lesson

For the best experience, we always recommend that you visit our showroom within three days after delivery so our staff can help you choose the best water care strategy for your household. Remember to bring a small sample of water so we can test your water during your visit.
