If you are finding that your Frog @ease system is needing to be replaced more frequently than 3-4 weeks or has trouble keeping your water clear, taking action on one or more of the following may help to fix the problem:
- When putting the Frog @ease cartridges into the water for the first time, ensure it is immersed in the spa until the cartridge is saturated and purged of air.
- The Frog @ease system will not work below a water temperature of 90 degrees, so make sure your spa temperature is always above 90 degrees.
- The blue mineral cartridge should be replaced every 4 months, or when your spas water has been drained. Even if you have only had the blue cartridge for 2 months, you will still need to replace it if you have drained your spa’s water.
- Ensure your pH level is maintained between 7.2 and 7.8. If your pH is too high, the Frog @ease system will struggle to keep your spa water clean (this is true of any sanitizing system you choose to use.)
- Make sure you have selected the correct cartridge setting for your spa (see chart below). The blue cartridge should always be set to 4, regardless of the spa you have.
