After your new spa is installed, we recommend adjusting the filtration cycle to ensure optimal water quality and system performance. Please refer to the chart below and set the filtration cycle based on the spa size and whether it is equipped with additional water treatment systems like ozone, EOS, or AOP. Always make these adjustments when setting up a new spa. The times are hours per cycle.

Important Notes:
- No Circulation Pump (No Circ): Applies to spas without a dedicated circulation pump.
- With Circulation Pump (Circ): Spas equipped with a circulation pump require different filtration cycles due to the increased water turnover.
- Ozone, EOS, AOP: These systems provide additional water sanitation and affect the required filtration time.
Instructions for Setup
After spa delivery, be sure to adjust the filtration cycle as indicated. Proper filtration reduces the need for additional chemical treatments, helps maintain water clarity, and extends the life of spa components. Set the cycle according to the chart as part of the setup process.
To change the filtering cycle on your Bullfrog spa:
- Open the Water Care Menu: Start by going into the Water Care section. You’ll see a pen icon next to each option—tap that to edit.
- Adjust the Filter Schedule: Once you’re in, find the “Filter cycle” tab. You can tweak an existing schedule or add a new one by tapping “Add filter cycle.”
- Set Your Times: Choose the days and times you want the spa to filter—whether it’s weekdays, weekends, or specific days. You can adjust the time and duration in 30-minute blocks.
- Save Your Changes: After you’ve set everything up the way you like, just hit “confirm” to lock it in. If you change your mind, you can always cancel before saving.
You can also remove any filter cycle by tapping the trash icon next to it.
